About the Group: “Möntenicher Hofnarren” is an amateur theater group from the picturesque Eifel village of Möntenich. In addition to native Möntenich residents, the ensemble includes “Zoiraaste” (newcomers) as well as performers from surrounding communities. The group is called “Möntenicher Hofnarren” because performances are held exclusively in the courtyard of Rosy & Ernst Loch—in the legendary open-air arena—on the last two weekends of August each year.
